TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EXHIBITING 

 

DEFINITIONS:

Show(s): An exhibition of wedding products and services on the specific date(s) and at the venue(s) described on the booking form

Exhibitor: The person or organization indicated by the signature on the booking contract and any employee, director, agent or associate of the person or organization.

Organizer: A person, director, agent, employee or associate authorized to act on behalf of Bonehead Productions Ltd

Attendee: A person or organization admitted to the Show by the Organizer.

 

EFFECTIVE CONTRACT
By way of signature and payment of the deposit listed overleaf, the Exhibitor is offering to exhibit at the Show(s) indicated. A contract between the Organizer and the Exhibitor is effective at the time and date of communication by the Organizer of acceptance of the Exhibitors offer; such communication may be by way of an invoice from the Organizer for payment by the Exhibitor.  

    PAYMENT
    In consideration of attendance at the Show the Exhibitor agrees to pay the Organizer the monetary sum equating to the price indicated overleaf  (or any outstanding amount) on or before 21 days of the date of the Show. If the Exhibitor should fail to pay the price required by the date required then the exhibitor is deemed to be in breach of contract and the Organizer may terminate the contract and recover any monetary sums not paid as a debt.


    CANCELLATIONS

    Following acceptance by the Organizer of the Exhibitor’s offer, the Exhibitor may not cancel the contract. Any failure to attend the Show by the Exhibitor does not relieve the exhibitor of any obligation to payment of the price of the Show.

     

    THE ORGANIZER  WILL PROVIDE:
    Services in the form of exhibition space within the venue (or an adjoining marquee) with a 4 Amp single phase electrical power supply within 5 metres of the Exhibition space and a six ft table together with tea/coffee and reasonable refreshments for up to two persons. The position of the exhibition space within the grounds of the venue shall be at the discretion of the Organizer. Where arranged separately, and at the discretion of the Organizer, external space within the venue for the parking of wedding cars or other wedding transport will also be provided. The inclusion of wedding attire in the bridal fashion show is also by separate agreement with, and at the discretion of, the Organizer.    A free 12 month listing (under the appropriate catagory) on the Brideandgroomshow.com website once the exhibitor has attended a minimum of one wedding show.

     

    NUMBER OF VISITORS
    The Organizer will advertise the event as deemed appropriate to the Show size and location. The Organizer does not take responsibility for the numbers of visitors to the Show and will not redeem monies paid as a result of the show being unsuccessful due to the number of visitors.

     

    PROPERTY OF THE EXHIBITOR (INCLUDING PROPERTY USED IN THE BRIDAL FASHION SHOW)
    The Organizer will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any property of the Exhibitor. The Organizer undertakes to take reasonable care of any property of the Exhibitor which has been entrusted to the Organizer for use in the Bridal Fashion Show. The Organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage (including cleaning) of Exhibitors property so entrusted in the care of the Organizer unless any such loss or damage is as a result of the negligence of the Organizer. In any event the total limit of liability of the Organizer shall be limited to the reasonable costs of repair, cleaning or compensation based on the second hand value of the property or a maximum of £100.00 which ever is the lower.  It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to check all garments used in the Fashion show before leaving the venue on the day of the show.

    LIABILITY OF THE EXHIBITOR AND REQUIREMENT FOR THIRD PARTY INSURANCE
    The Exhibitor is liable for any loss or damage to persons or property of any Attendee or any third party (including the venue) so caused by the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor is required to hold third party insurance to cover any such loss or damage to persons or property to a minimum of £1 million for each and every claim. If so required by the Organizer the Exhibitor shall provide evidence of such third party insurance and any failure to provide evidence will result in the Exhibitor being refused access to the Show.

    USE OF EXHIBITION SPACE
    Each booking of exhibition space is to be used to promote only the Exhibiter or the enterprise of the Exhibitor as listed in the “Nature of Business” details shown overleaf. Any failure to comply with this requirement of the contract may result in the Exhibitor being refused access to the Show.
    For Health and Safety reasons, Exhibitors that have booked a Corridor stand at the Town Hall Show must keep all exhibition equipment and tables, against the wall.

    GENERAL LIABILITY
    The Organizer will not be liable to the Exhibitor for any failure to provide the services detailed in Clause 4 above due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. “Reasonable Control” shall include, but not be limited to, fire, flood, inclement weather, a security alert or any other act or perceived act of terrorism and any non availability of the Show venue.

    ACCEPTABLE CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOUR OF THE EXHIBITOR
    The Exhibitor is required to conduct any soliciting of business with any Attendee in a manner which is, at the sole discretion of the Organizer, considered, to be fair, honest truthful and legal. The Exhibitor shall not make any disparaging remarks or communications about any other Exhibitor to any Attendee or any Exhibitor. If the Exhibitor should fail to maintain reasonable conduct and behavior as required by this Clause then the Organizer may require the Exhibitor to leave the Show and the Organizer may cancel any contract with the Exhibitor for any other Shows without compensation or refund off any payments made by the Exhibitor.

    SOLICITING OF BUSINESS BY THE EXHIBITOR
    The Exhibitor is required to only solicit business with any Attendee within the confines of or the immediate area of the exhibition space provided by the Organizer, for the purposes of this Clause “immediate area” is defined as within 3 metres of Exhibitor’s exhibition space.

    PRODUCTION OF BRIDAL FASHION SHOWS
    The Organizer shall have sole authority over the artistic and musical content, production, scripts and models provided for any Bridal Fashion Show. The provision of wedding attire by an Exhibitor is made on the condition that the authority of the Organizer is accepted by the Exhibitor.
